Mas Lucha Paraguay's next Lucha Libre show, Noche De Los 80s, will take place on Saturday, April 25th.  The venue is Villa Elisa - Southern Access / Luis Alberto de Panana beginning at 8pm.

Having Academies

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena's newest crop at their most recent show last Saturday. 

In the last four years of blogging on Pro Wrestling/Lucha Libre, one thing of importance is building up a small promotion continuously.

I had the opportunity of seeing this in my travels to Southeast Asia.  Seeing promotions such as PUSO Wrestling, Filipino Pro Wrestling, World Underground Wrestling, TOP Dojo and SETUP Thailand grow right before us is major if a promotion wants to continue to grow.

According to sources, an average performer lasts on the average about 15 years.  Some wrestle less and some wrestle more.  I'm told the average has gone up slightly due to better nutrition and sports and wrestling equipment.  Medical science is far better than what was experienced 60-70 years ago.

This article is definitely not intended to scare a veteran wrestler.  I've seen pro wrestlers perform for years....like well into their 50s such as Ric Flair.  However, wrestling, unlike, let's say baseball, has more body contact involved.

Whenever I see promotions such as GeneraXion Lucha Libre in Peru and 3Falls Lucha Libre in Bolivia promoting their training sessions and academies, it's great to see.  The rewards from training means a future show!  As a blogger and wrestling fan, will do the best possible in any way to continue promoting as training sessions as they happen.    

Mas Lucha Paraguay

This blogger came across a promotion in Paraguay a few minutes ago.  As this is being posted, am learning more about the promotion, events, etc.

The promotion's name is Mas Lucha Paraguay and is located in Asuncion, Paraguay.

The promotion apparently was established in September 2023 and is active according to sources.  Per Cagematch, the promotion has had one show and was posted in 2024.  Besides having shows, the promotion has an active academy.

As soon as I can get more information, will pass it along on the blog.

3Falls SobreViviente Moment

Last Saturday night's 3Falls Lucha Libre SobreViviente show, from my sources, photos, video and more, was one for the ages.

Having the first major show at the new 3Falls Arena was a major success.  Having a sellout crowd at the event is not just a bonus, but is something that everyone involved (fans and everyone at 3Falls) should be proud of.  In time, this blogger will learn more about how the new arena was built and all.

As someone who shares upcoming shows, potential matches and results, it's always important to mention every luchador who appeared at the show whether it's winning, losing or a draw.  It's always important to mention the likes of a Matt Blake, Dark Lidan, Xander Cage, Myo, Bam Bam Josh and/or Ace Poker as well as Nathan Drake, Raptor and/or Seth El Guerrero.  

What was not overlooked that the show had the present and the future for Lucha Libre in Santa Cruz on the same night!  Five people made their Lucha Libre debuts at the show.  The group came out of the Escuela De Lucha Libre in Santa Cruz.

Zambo Guerrero, Deku, JC Dante, Snyder Reiner and Andrew Steel (pictured above), am told, did an outstanding job last Saturday at the show.  Whether it was a singles match or a Survivor Battle, all five took part in something special.  It's a moment that each one will never forget!     

It's great to see the number of wrestlers that are coming out of the Escuela.  It's not easy, as people are aware, to find someone who wants to perform.   There are a lot of variables that go into it.  Hopefully, I speak for everyone, that all five were determined to take part, and would succeed no matter how long it took in training.  


In any event, congratulations to the five mentioned and hopefully, they will have a great career ahead!  Also, thank you to 3Falls for allowing me to share the photo with the readers.

Regarding the show itself, I will have more updates in the coming days.  Please be on the lookout.

GLL Peru - Camino a la Gloria Update #1

GeneraXion Lucha Libre Peru's next show, Camino a la Gloria, will be taking place on Sunday, April 26th.  The Rigel Sports Field in San Miguel is the venue beginning at 4pm.

It's been announced in the last few hours the first participants in the Royal Rumble (copa leyenda).  The winner of this match wins the Cup and is guaranteed an opportunity to wrestle for any title in GLL Peru in a future show!

J.O.C, Doc Veneno and Renzo have announced that they will be part of the upcoming match.

Congratulations Percy Callata!

A special congratulations are in order for one great wrestler!

Percy Callata defeated Juventud Latina and Abraxas yesterday at the Lidermania XX show to win the vacant South American Championship, one of the prestigious titles in all of the continent.

This blogger has gotten to know Percy a little bit since beginning this blog early in the year.  Despite what fans may or may not think of him kindly in the ring, as a fan, and blogger, he has been cooperative and respectful what is written about Lucha Libre whether it is in Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and anywhere in South America.

I haven't seen the match from Sunday for the vacant belt yet, but have watched Percy on video throughout his time in Peru and with GeneraXion Lucha Libre.  This blogger knows that he is a solid wrestlers with great skills and agility in and out of the squared circle.  Percy was the first luchador I've interviewed and was, more than cooperative with this blogger.  He's helped me as a blogger and in several ways.  Hopefully, I've done the same for him and for all the wrestlers throughout the region.

Percy doesn't need me to tell him this but he knows the following.  Certainly, it's not easy attempting to go after a title.  Once winning the title, it's not easy and even more defending it.  Everyone is coming after you wanting a title shot.  Knowing Percy a little bit, he is a great ambassador in winning this title.  Hopefully, he will defend it for days, months and years to come.

As soon as I get full results from the Lidermania XX show, I will post it on the blog.  Thank you and congratulations Percy!

Congratulations 3Falls

Congratulations to 3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena on a great event in SobreViviente last night at the NEW 3Falls Arena!

The event attracted the first sell out crowd in the new arena.

Also, congratulations to Bam Bam Josh who won the Survivor Battle.  He defeated Xander Cage who were the final two competitors.  Bam Bam now wins a title opportunity of his choice after winning.

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena SobreViviente Update #7

Couple of announcements to make.

First off, congratulations to 3Falls World Campion, Matt Blake on passing 200 days as the promotion's World Champion.  Anytime, a wrestler is a champion of any kind, it is special.  Matt has done what any World Champion has done.  He won the title, and has defended it six times since.

This blogger has seen Matt's comments and the comments by the snake, Logan Sebastian.  It appears that there will be a collision between the two coming up this Sunday at SobreViviente at the New 3Falls Arena.  Whether it will be a title, non-title, no disqualification or whatever, we will likely not know until Saturday!

Also, missed this yesterday but have time to mention the following information.  One more wrestler will be taking part in the Survivor Battle.  That is King Torito.

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena SobreViviente Update #6

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena's next show, SobreViviente, will be taking place on Saturday, April 11th.  The venue is the 3Falls Arena in Santa Cruz de la Sierra beginning at 5pm (1700 hours).

One of my favorites, Myo, has entered the Survivor Battle this coming Saturday.

Will Myo become the second woman to win the event?  The Survivor Battle is becoming more competitive with numerous wrestlers entering in the last few days.  There are still several days to go and there are definitely some names that we haven't heard from yet.  As soon as this blogger finds out, he will post them for you.

Also, I will post this again on the Lucha Libre Lider post but will also post this here.  3Falls great, Xander Cage will be taking on the Lider Interdepartamental Champion, Hawai at the Lidermania XX show coming up this weekend.  All the best to Xander over in La Paz!

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena SobreViviente Update #5

 

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena's next show, SobreViviente, will be taking place on Saturday, April 11th.  The venue is the 3Falls Arena in Santa Cruz de la Sierra beginning at 5pm (1700 hours).

A few hours ago, 3Falls has confirmed that Ash will be part of the Survivor event.


This blogger apologizes for not knowing more about Ash.  I do know that she took part in last weekend's Arcade Golden Edition at the new 3Falls Arena.  In fact, she was in a title match against Matt Blake for the 3Falls World Championship.

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena SobreViviente Update #4

 

3Falls Lucha Libre Crucena's next show, SobreViviente, will be taking place on Saturday, April 11th.  The venue is the 3Falls Arena in Santa Cruz de la Sierra beginning at 5pm (1700 hours).

The fourth entrant in the Survivor Battle has been announced just a few hours ago.

Xander Cage is the latest entry for the upcoming show this coming Saturday.

This blogger believes that he is one of the favorites to be the lone survivor when all is said and done.  

Last year in the Survivor Battle, he was one of the first two to enter the ring and lasted a long, long time before eventually being eliminated.  A match such as this one takes skill, endurance and some luck involved.  When watching it for the first time, my mind was thinking of the time Rey Mysterio of WWE fame did something similar, and won!  All the best to Xander and all the participants who will take part.
