WAR Lucha Lubre - It's Time

A little earlier, it was the hope that this blogger would get a chance to watch WAR Lucha Libre's wrestling show, It's Time!  The event, as this is being posted, is live from the Fan Axxes Arena in Quito, Ecuador.  For this fan, it's the first time watching a stream live anywhere in South America.

Unfortunately, except for one match, the quality and sound on You Tube was very poor.  I've experienced this several times on streaming shows that have come out of Southeast Asia.  Usually, after about 10-15 minutes, the quality becomes a lot better.  Unfortunately, this time, it was not this case.

The World Pairs Tag Team Championship, which is vacant, will be decided in this show.  Eight teams including one team from GLL Peru are wrestling for the belt.

The one match that was of good quality was the one involving Havoc and Ramses Darkstrike from GeneraXion Lucha Libre - Peru.  They just happened to win with the match being chaotic off and on.  At times, there were more wrestlers fighting out of the ring than in.  In the end however, Ramses wins with a splash and press!

Hopefully, the video will be shown at a later date with quality viewing for all of us who want to see it.

Editors Update - Ramses and Havoc defeat a second team that doesn't have the chemistry.  In fact, after the match, Andrew and a wrestler who was a second on the outside, came to blows inside the ring.  Once again, Ramses won the match fair and square right in the middle of the ring.  The Peruvian team is now in the finals of the tag team tournament!

As this blogger is watching, this blogger is told that the finals are a tables match!

The match was okay but could have been a lot better.  Ramses and Havoc controlled the match, and won initially when a wrestler landing on the table broke.  The referee overruled it.  Then there was interference from the outside causing their opponents to "turn the tables" for the win!

This blogger doesn't get into making matches but the Ecuadorian Tag Team Champions ought to go to Peru and defend the titles against Ramses and Havoc in a return match in a date to be determined!

Arica Lucha Libre

This blogger is continuing to learn the different promotions throughout the continent of South America.  Here is a new promotion to be posted on the blog for the first time.

Arica Lucha Libre is a promotion out of the country of Chile.  Bordered by Argentina, Bolivia and Peru, the country presides on the southwest portion of the continent.  It has more than 6,000 kilometers of Pacific Coast coastline.

Arica, the town is located on the northernmost area of the country and is near the border facing Peru.  It has beautiful museums and cathedrals.  And it has a pro wrestling promotion.

The promotion began as Campeonato Wrestling Arica back in 2004 and is now the current name.  In the 21+ years, the company has had 85 shows.  That is about the average for an independent promotion.  Since 2019, they have become the current name for the company.

ALL (for short) has two titles, the region XV Championship and the World Championship.  From time to time, wrestlers from other countries come to wrestle in their shows.  Since Peru and Bolivia's promotions are not too far away, it probably works well for everyone involved.

A wrestler that this blogger follows from GLL Peru, J.O.C, will be appearing at ALL's next show.  The event is called Arikaos.  The date is Saturday, March 14th at the Eleven Club beginning at 6:30pm.

Will keep everyone updated on the show and the matches that will take place.  Arica Lucha Libre can be found on Facebook, You Tube and other social media accounts.  Here is the Facebook link.  Thank you.

GLL Peru - Fuego Cruzado Update #4

Hello everyone.

Two more matches have been added for GeneraXion Lucha Libre's show, Fuego Cruzado.  The event will be taking place one week from today, Sunday, February 22nd.  The venue is the Complejo Deportivo Rigel beginning at 5pm.

One match will feature The Rockstar, Ricky Valero versus Lee Shu.  Both wrestlers have come off defeats in the last show.  They will both try to get back in the win column in this one-on-one match.

Also, there will be a tag team match between Barracuda Jr. and Puro Hueso versus El Sindicato's Wolf and Havok.

Wolf and Havok won their match in the last show in January and have the chemistry of a great tag team.

This blogger is not familiar with Puro Hueso as a wrestler.  However, his tag team partner, Barracuda Jr. will be making his 2026 debut at the event.  He wrestled in several singles matches for the promotion in 2025.

For tickets and more information on next Sunday's show, please visit the GeneraXion Lucha Libre Facebook page.  Thank you.

GLL Peru - Fuego Cruzado - Two Added Matches

GeneraXion Lucha Libre has added two matches to the upcoming Fuego Cruzado show.  The event will take place at 5pm on Sunday, February 22nd.  The venue is the Rigel Sports Field in Lima (San Miguel area).

Paul Taylor & Supay were tag team partners at GLL Peru's last show, Hora Cero 2026 in January.  Both wrestlers will face each other in a singles match at this show.

Also, Demonio Seven will face Charlie Navarro for the GLL Hatun Auqui Latin America Title.

The stakes are high in this one.  Demonio Seven has held the Hatun Auqui title since last May when defeating the legendary La Cobra.  He has defended it successfully on at least four occasions.

However, he's going up against Charlie who wants two titles (he is currently the LLL Title holder)!  Will we see an extension of the current title holder reign?  Or will we see  an opponent that could dominate the GLL Peru scene for weeks to come?

For tickets and more information on the upcoming show on February 22nd, please visit the GLL Peru Facebook page.  Thank you.

GLL Peru - Fuego Cruzado Update #2

Hola amigos!

GeneraXion Lucha Libre's next show, Fuego Cruzado will be taking place on Sunday, February 22nd.  The event begins at 5pm at the Rigel Sports Field in the San Miguel area of Lima.

This blogger is still new when it comes to Lucha Libre and GLL Peru.  However, the upcoming match between Renzo Xervantes and Ramses Darkstrike will be a return match from their last encounter at Hora Cero 2026 in January.

This match is not just a return match however.  If Renzo loses to Ramses, Renzo becomes a "slave" of El Sindicato.  Now, for the readers, like myself that are fairly new, El Sindicato is a faction consisting of Ramses, Havok, Slayer and Wolf.  In any pro wrestling storyline, whenever one or two of the members of El Sindicato wrestles, another will be in the vicinity of the ring.  Factions are one of the many reasons I love watching GeneraXion Lucha Libre on You Tube.

Looking back at the last several months at GeneraXion Lucha Libre shows, there has been, let's say extra curricular activity besides an actual match between El Sindicato and an opponent.  Normally, Renzo, a crowd favorite is the target but it's happened with Ricky Valero as well.

This match could be one of the more interesting ones at the upcoming Fuego Cruzado show in less than two weeks.  For more information on the upcoming show as well as tickets, please visit the GLL Peru Facebook page.  I've posted the link below to their Facebook page.  Thank you.

Several matches have been made for the show thus far.  Here are the matches signed...

Bad Boy Jr. vs. Ricky Valero.

Falcon Kidd vs. DelaVega.

GLL Peru - Fuego Cruzado Update

GeneraXion Lucha Libre's next show, Fuego Cruzado, will be taking place on Sunday, February 22nd at 5pm.  The Rigel Sports Field is the venue.

Two matches have been made for the upcoming show thus far.

A return singles match between Ramses Darkstrike and Renzo Xervantes has a stipulation.  If Renzo loses this match, he becomes a slave to the El Sindicate!

The second match is an interesting one which is a four way match.

It will be Ronin vs. Razor Romero vs. J.O.C vs. Slayer.  Four way matches are always unpredictable and this one is no exception.  This blogger is still learning about Ronin but have watched video of the other three wrestlers.  It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this one.

For more information and tickets, please visit the Generation Lucha Libre Facebook page.  I've added a link to the Facebook page below.  Thank you.

Lucha Libre Lider

Another pro wrestling (lucha libre) promotion in the country of Bolivia is Lucha Libre Lider.

Still new to blogging with lucha libre in South America, Lucha Libre Lider is one of the newer promotions in Bolivia.  Per Cagematch, the promotion began in 2007.  Per their Facebook page, it appeared to get a jump start in 2019 and has been picking up since, especially in the last year.

The last several shows have taken place at the Coliseo 12 de Octubre.

Lucha Libre Lider's next show happens to be this coming Sunday, February 8th at the Coliseo 12 de Octubre in La Paz.  The event, Chilean Invasion begins at 3:30pm.

A five way International Fight featuring wrestlers from the countries of Bolivia, Chile and Peru for the Interdepartmental Championship.  It will be Manu Romero (Chile) vs. Chico Hawai (Bolivia) vs. Juventud (Bolivia) vs. Lucian Lycans (c) (Peru) vs. Percy Callata (Peru).

Lycans recently won the championship on December 25 in a three way match.  Definitely, he's familiar with three way matches.  A five way match likely has the same rules.  He must pin or have a wrestler submit to retain the title.  He doesn't necessarily need to pinned in order to lose it.

Soon, I'll have a page regarding Lucha Libre Lider as well as Jach'a Pacha Pro Wrestling.  In the meantime, for tickets and more information on the Sunday show, please visit the Lucha Libre Lider Facebook and other social media outlets.  The link to their Facebook page is just below this paragraph.  Thank you.

A major tag team match has been added to Jach'a Pacha's Pro Wrestling's show, Pasion Por La Lucha.  The event will take place this Sunday, February 8th at the Templo del Sol beginning at 4:30pm.

After what happened in the last show in January, Rocky Katari and Ajayu will be teaming up to face Puma Huascar and Sangre Aymara.  Certainly, the rivalry and the match will be action packed and am certain the fans will get their money's worth in this encounter.

For tickets, and more information, please visit the Jach'a Pacha Pro Wrestling Facebook page and/or other social media outlets.  The Facebook page link is listed below.  Thank you.

Thoughts On The GLL Peru Zero Hour Show

Hello everyone!

First off, nice to be back blogging.  The current blog is better than the first one that was attempted.  Hopefully, it will be better for everyone that reads it.

This blogger had a chance to watch the You Tube videos of GLL Peru's last show, Zero Hour.  Before commenting, there are some thank you's to mention.

Thank you to Hanny, Sara and Grimreaper for their work with GLL Peru and with the Wrestling Drummer You Tube page.  Though this fan is not in Peru, but in America, their work putting a product together for wrestling fans is valuable!  If interested, please check out the Wrestling Drummer You Tube page.  Here is the link right below...

  https://www.youtube.com/@wrestlingdrummer

In the couple of months following GeneraXion Lucha Libre, I've watched videos and read material on a couple of the social media sites.  They have done a tremendous job and, more than anything, deserve the mention here.

Thanks to one of the wrestlers with GLL Peru in J.O.C,  the promotion was the first one in South America that I began to follow.  From that day, I've exchanged messages with several wrestlers in the promotion and the vibe has been great!

Though I give J.O.C much credit, GLL Peru means a lot to this fan!  Hopefully, this blogger won't be a pain in the butt to the roster but it's nice when one is appreciated by those in the promotion.  This blogger is looking forward to attending a show later this year in Peru!

Finally, this blogger enjoys and likes the direction of the promotion and with the storylines.  Though I haven't talked with the GLL Peru fans, the impression this fan sees is that they feel the same.  The fans that are at GLL Peru shows are having a good time.  I see it with young and old alike!

Now, to the last show, Zero Hour.  To any pro wrestling promotion, the first show of a new year is one that gets off to a great start.  In watching the six videos, there is no question that GeneraXion Lucha Libre did just that!

This blogger, sort of wished, he hadn't seen the results on social media, but that's okay.  All of the matches exceeded what the results showed.

J.O.C winning his first match over Lee Shu was definitely important for J.O.C.  It will also be interesting to see if Stephanie Venturo returning as Lee's manager will jump start his performances in future shows.

Havok and Wolf worked well as a team during their encounter with Supay and Paul Taylor.  Certainly, this blogger needs to see more video from all four wrestlers.

Razor Romero looked good in his match with Ronin.  It was the first time seeing video of Ronin so am looking forward to seeing more of him in action.  Hopefully, the fans will see more as well.

The Ramses Darkstrike vs. Renzo Xervantes match definitely had good wrestling and excitement.  The interference in the match was definitely part of the storyline.  It will be interesting to see if Renzo can win the rematch at February's show.

Also, the Chavin vs. Ricky Valero match for the Peruvian Television Championship had some very good moments.  It was interesting late in the match and the outcome in doubt.  This was one match I watched twice!

The Hatun Auqui Title match between Demonio Seven and Slayer was definitely good.  The thing this blogger always finds in pro wrestling is when you are the champion, you are always "the hunted!"  That certainly happened in this match, and afterwards.

Finally, the signing for the LLL Championship match between Charlie Navarro and Prince Diego was interesting.

This fan has seen a lot of signings for title matches over time with WWE.  In a previous paragraph, I mentioned that the champion is always "the hunted."  Well, there may be an exception in this case and that's with Prince Diego.  Hopefully, by February 22nd, he will be ready and fired up for the gold!

For more on the upcoming February 22nd show, please visit the GLL Peru Facebook page.  Thank you!

Jach'a Pacha Pro Wrestling

Another one of the top pro wrestling promotions in South America, and the country of Bolivia, is Jach'a Pacha Pro Wrestling.

When doing the original blog, this blogger learned that this promotion has a long history in Bolivia.

It began with a promotion, Halcones del Ring, back in 1998.  Being new to pro wrestling and Lucha Libre in South America, it is always great to see a promotion in any country.

In 2012, the promotion's name changed to Lucha Libre con Altura Bolivia.  It would remain that way until November 2024 when the promotion name changed to the current name.

Since 2019, the promotion has been more active with wrestling shows.  As of this post, there have been well over 40 shows in the region.  From what this blogger has seen on Cagematch, the promotion has had shows either at the Templo del Sol or the Coliseo Multifunctional La Ceja.  Either case, the events have drawn well from the videos seen.

Wrestlers that you will see at the promotion's shows include Rocky Katari, Puma Huascar, Ajayu Luchador, Sangre Aymara, Halcon Dorado, Myo-chan, Yuri Rem, Tin Tan, Ligerin Wrestler, Luqui Quino, Torino and more.

Jach'a Pacha Pro Wrestling has got off to a solid start in 2026 and has several shows coming up.  In the very near future, I will share results from January and mention the upcoming events.  In the meantime, please visit their Facebook and other social media pages.  I will list them below this paragraph.  Thanks again and please check it out!
