Another pro wrestling (lucha libre) promotion in the country of Bolivia is Lucha Libre Lider.
Still new to blogging with lucha libre in South America, Lucha Libre Lider is one of the newer promotions in Bolivia. Per Cagematch, the promotion began in 2007. Per their Facebook page, it appeared to get a jump start in 2019 and has been picking up since, especially in the last year.
The last several shows have taken place at the Coliseo 12 de Octubre.
Lucha Libre Lider's next show happens to be this coming Sunday, February 8th at the Coliseo 12 de Octubre in La Paz. The event, Chilean Invasion begins at 3:30pm.
A five way International Fight featuring wrestlers from the countries of Bolivia, Chile and Peru for the Interdepartmental Championship. It will be Manu Romero (Chile) vs. Chico Hawai (Bolivia) vs. Juventud (Bolivia) vs. Lucian Lycans (c) (Peru) vs. Percy Callata (Peru).
Lycans recently won the championship on December 25 in a three way match. Definitely, he's familiar with three way matches. A five way match likely has the same rules. He must pin or have a wrestler submit to retain the title. He doesn't necessarily need to pinned in order to lose it.
Soon, I'll have a page regarding Lucha Libre Lider as well as Jach'a Pacha Pro Wrestling. In the meantime, for tickets and more information on the Sunday show, please visit the Lucha Libre Lider Facebook and other social media outlets. The link to their Facebook page is just below this paragraph. Thank you.
