Here are the results from GeneraXion Lucha Libre's show, Camino a la Gloria. The lucha libre event took place on Sunday, April 26th at the Campo Deportivo Rigel, San Miguel in Lima.
Per the blogger's sources, the show was definitely a success with some surprises. Instead of sharing that, please check out the upcoming highlights and matches on the Grim Reaper's You Tube page later in the week. This blogger wants to watch it as well. Percy Callata (c) def. Ronin for the South American Wrestling Championship. Two things here - The original match was supposed to be Percy and Klissman Simonini from Bolivia. However, Simonini was unable to be at the show due to flight issues. Definitely, this is a possible future problem that I may deal with due to possible flights from the U.S. to Bolivia later this year. Also, the blogger was unaware as well as the fans who were at the show yesterday. The blogger applauds GLL Peru as well as Percy and Ronin for putting on this match!
Ramses Darkstrike and Havok def. Supay and Paul Taylor.
Demonio Seven (c) def. J.O.C and Auzzy in what the blogger heard was a great match to retain the Hatun Auqui Championship.
Finally, last but not least, Dr. Veneno is the winner of the Copa Legend by defeating the final challenger, Ramses Darkstrike. I'm told it came down to the final four challengers in Dr. Veneno, Ramses, Ricky Valero and Renzo Xervantes. It came down to Dr. Veneno and Ramses with Dr. Veneno winning. He would receive a title shot in the near future. The blogger's taking it that it could be any one of the GLL titles.
This was a Rumble-style match with 20 total wrestlers. There would be an entrant that would enter every two minutes.
Two things the blogger would like to say here. Ricky, I'm certain put in a great effort. Going against a legend in the final four is amazing enough! The blogger did see the photo of Ricky following the match which prompted me to send a message. Thank you for replying! Ricky is a class act as well as everyone at GLL Peru in the short time doing this blog!
Also, thank you to Ramses with the correction from what the blogger posted earlier. It's important to get the results correct, especially when the world sees this blog! Ramses, thank you so much. I owe you one!
Hope to see you guys soon. I'm mulling a decision to visit.
